How long is your partner staying with you after birth?

How long are your partners staying with you after you give birth? My husband works 70+ hours a week 6 days normally, BUT it’s a family ran company so he can take off a full week once we get home to help me settle in with the baby since it’s our first and i also feel like it’s important for him to bond with the baby as well.

His work is in town and literally 3 minutes away so he can always leave work to come help me if i need it during the week but I’m trying to just have him stay the week and then go back to work without me needing him.

I feel like a week is NOTHING but i know i should be grateful that he can stay with me and the baby for a week. ☹️
