Low platelets

I have recently found out my platelet levels have dropped.

I had my blood tested at 28 weeks but my midwife didn’t look at the results until 31 weeks and isn’t testing them again until 36 weeks.

I’m a hoping for a home birth and now I’m worried that because they a bit low (130) that I will have to give birth at the hospital.

I have been prescribed iron tablets that I can collect next week 🙈 I’m not sure if this is supposed to help raise platelet counts.

Does having slightly low iron affect them?

Is it possible for my platelet level to go back up?

I’m in the UK so maternity units won’t take either me if I’m high risk :(
