What period has been more difficult?

Question

Curious to see what people deem as more challenging. 
I’ve had sooo many other moms warn of like “oh just wait til they’re crawing/walking—that’s when it really gets hard”
I don’t see it that way at all. He is SO much fun and even though I have to watch him for safety at all times, this is easy peasy compared to spending all my waking hours calming down a fussy baby and being up all night!
I honestly do not miss the newborn phase...

The newborn stage was sooooo difficult! I much prefer the on-the-go stage.

I’ll say now mainly because he’s so whiny now mainly because of his teething so once this phase pass I’ll b back sane

I think for me it really depends on the day. Sometimes I think right now is easier because hes so much fun and lively, he sleeps through the night so I'm not sleep deprived, he takes longer naps so I can get more done and have more of a schedule and I love watching him learn new things.  On the other hand, some days I miss the newborn stage because hes so busy and I miss just being able to cuddle on the couch together and watch tv while he was asleep on me or leave the room to pee without worrying about his safety. I could even shower or workout sometimes while he was just content in his chair beside me so I really think it depends on how I'm feeling that day lol but I do have to say I've loved ever different stage for different reasons. Just when I think one age is my favourite, I love the next month just as much but for entirely different reasons!

With this baby, the moving has been hardest, watching constantly for getting underfoot, closing doors and getting trapped, growing and being able to reach things on the table, climbing onto furniture and getting stuck has been the new thing now.... I've had other babies who had tough newborn days, sickly, sleep deprived, colicky.... Being a mom just isn't easy at all. Lol

My first was an easy newborn.. so the mobile stage was definitely more difficult. My second however, is the opposite. His newborn phase was....rough (to say the least), but now he’s easier to handle.

I think this really just depends lol my first was the worst newborn! My husband refused to have a second because of that. My girl now was the COMPLETE opposite! Newborn phase was sooooo easy compared to her on the go. I just said today how I missed the days when she would just eat, snuggle, and sleep!
