If you're on medicaid, do you feel like you get treated differently than people with private insurance?

Today my OB sent me to the hospital to get fluids since I have lost more weight and haven't been able to eat for 2 days.
The nurse asked me if I had "insurance or medicaid" which medicaid is insurance so whatever.
After I said yes the two nurses demeanors totally changed. They brought up 3 times how I may not be able to afford the zofran being called in if insurance didn't pay then looked shocked when i said i don't care if it's covered i just need something that works. 
They went from being overly nice to pretty cold and snotty.

Hun go to the store and get unisom and b 6 and take a half of each pill at once and see how it does. Both over the counter. Easy access to them. And they worked for Me. I had lost 10lbs from 7weeks to 12weeks before I was told about it and I started it and i gained the weight back and then some because I was able to keep my food down

I say yes but it was in a good way. I’ve never been on it but my son was. Neither of our jobs allowed us to add anyone at the time so we had to get state insurance for him. No matter what we needed, it was handled almost no questions asked. With my insurance, I had to call ahead and make sure every little thing would be covered and then they would still sometimes give me trouble. They even sent us a reward system packet where we’d get gift cards for doing what people should be doing, like taking their kids on time to check ups. It was bizarre. Maybe because he was a kid things were different vs if an adult did it? I also know two friends who went on state insurance because they were not married and pregnant. They didn’t pay a penny for anything and it even covered their whole birth and then pp check up.

I haven’t had Medicade but when I got pregnant I was on my parents insurance list as a child (legal I was in college) well it doesn’t cover pregnancy and I got put on state insurance to cover the pregnancy and I felt very disrespected UNTIL my husband came with me to an appointment in uniform (military) and they changed their tune real quick 😑 I was livid but being in a tiny town I couldn’t change doctors
