Is it weird that I’m dry in my t-zone with acne prone skin?

I have dry to normal skin. I have acne, like those small raised bumps that you can’t pop but is scattered. I have that on my T-zone and only recently during quarantine it started spreading and getting worse. This is why I’ve developed a skin care routine.

Usually when people have combo or partly normal skin, their T-zone is the oily part but none of my face has ever been oily? My T-zone is just dry and flakey but the rest is normal. You would think that that part would be oily because acne is there but no? I’ve heard so many people say that the only part of their face that’s oily is there T-zone but I feel like I’m the only one that has this and it’s weird to me?

I looked up reasons why my T-zone is so dry and flakey and what came up was

• cold dry weather

• over washing

• over exfoliating

• sun exposure

I live in Florida so it’s pretty humid here. I only recently started following a proper skin care routine but I’ve always had this problem so I don’t think it’s the middle two. And for sun exposure I haven’t been outside due to corona and even before quarantine when I was outside I had my face covered, so I don’t think sun exposure is the problem either? Unless it doesn’t have to be consistent and only has to happen a few times for the skin to change which in that case it makes sense.

But seriously, anyone else? And what could be the reason for this?
