Any 40 y/o going through or have been through IVF?

FINALLY got the “go” to start my first cycle of 
IVF
... between COVID and waiting for insurance to cover, Ive been waiting over 5 months! Just started my BC pills and waiting for the calendar to be mailed to me for the protocol... I’m 42 and this will be my 1 and half year mark of infertility.  This is our last resort as we have had 2 Failed IUIS and 5 rounds of failed clomid. I have never been pregnant & never miscarried. Due to my age, my amh is only at a .7 and my husband has really low -1% mothology. Praying for a miracle... Any one else in the same boat, I could really use some encouraging words now! I’m excited as can be and the thought that MAYBE in 1 month I could actually be pregnant literally puts tears in my eyes! Best of luck to all you beautiful ladies out there! Xoxoxo

I am 39 and finished my last IVF cycle last November.   I’m currently 32 weeks with a baby boy.

I turned 41 and waiting for period to start another round maybe 2 weeks. I did one in November 3 eggs retrieved non fertilized due to quality. Fingers crossed for you it takes one good egg!

Praying for you! 43 and doing 1st IVF. So angry w past doctors for not being more aggressive with me being in my 40s. We lost 2 years to 1 bad dr. Now, I have 14 more bcp to take! Baseline 4 days later and starting stims if baselines are good!! 🤞🙏🍀

I’m rooting for you! We also had both male and female factor. Just did my first round after having my cycle cancelled due to covid. 
I had to call around and do so many consults to see if anyone would take me for a fresh transfer. Many docs are just as bothered by women’s healthcare being taken away during covid and were willing to take me on.

I'm not 40 but did it at 38 after trying for 16 years!!!!! First round worked doing another round in December. Good luck!! I didnt have low egg counts but low egg quality.
