BLW not working

My 9 month old doesn’t actually pick up the food and eat it when it’s in front of her. She’ll just play with it and drop it on the floor. If I feed her she will eat but is anyone else experiencing this? I see videos of babies feeding themselves and I’m like wondering what I’m doing wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️
