Straight pride ????

Would someone please tell me why I hear homophobic people saying “gay people shouldn’t get a month to celebrate, straight people don’t even have a parade”???

Because, aside from the fact that straight people have always been accepted (thus no need for a specific time to celebrate and be accepted), isn’t pride month for ALL sexualities and genders? Straight, Non-binary, gay, transgender, bisexual, demisexual, AND MORE are all celebrated and accepted and loved at pride.

I will truly never understand the ignorance, judgement, and lack of empathy it takes for a person to not see this?
