Did Pitocin make you feel a high?

After asking friends, I keep getting mixed answers on whether or not Pitocin made them feel any different? Getting induced tomorrow and want to know beforehand what your experience was!

No. It’s only purpose is to make your uterus contract. Ive never had a single patient say it’s made them feel high and I didn’t feel anything with my two inductions either. Not sure where that info came from.

No, it’s just called the devils liquid because of the painful contractions it makes you have, not cause it gets you high lol

No. I didn’t feel it at all. It didn’t even make my contractions hurt. I didn’t start feeling pain from contractions intoned about 16 hours into the induction... I was in labor for 39 hours. 😬
