33 weeks and seeing stars?

Anyone know what this could be? It didn’t last long. It freaked me out cause from the corner of my eye it looked like little bugs on the wall or something but when I turned I realized they were light colored little floaters or something I was seeing. 
Have an appt in a few days so will definitely ask then, but anyone know what this could be?

What were you doing right before it happened? I’ve had them after laying on my back too long.

It could be a sign of high blood pressure and/or preeclampsia. I have gestational hypertension and I get vision disturbances like this when my BP is high. But there’s no protein in my urine and my labs are all fine. I wouldn’t worry too much, but it’s definitely something to bring up to your doctor

Were you dizzy too? I’ve always gotten that right before I pass out, even before I was pregnant. For me, keeping hydrated helps avoid that. But yours might be entirely dif reasoning since you are pregnant

I’ve had floaters before pregnancy and they went away on their own. My eye doctor said they float out of your vision but are still there most times. Not sure what it means for pregnancy though.

Like the others said, could be a sign of preeclampsia. Definitely tell your doctor as soon as they open.

I know that’s a sign of preeclampsia, definitely bring it up at your appt! Also headache, nausea, swelling are signs too.

That is a sign of preeclampsia. Be super careful, preeclampsia can be extremely serious if not treated properly in a timely manner.
