Can we not block people?

When I scroll through the app and I see negative or downright rude AF comments on people’s posts & the arguing that ensues I’ve tried visiting their profiles to just go ahead and block them because I don’t need that kind of energy on anything I post. I’m not trying to be dealing with people arguing on the Internet whether or not I get involved. I keep scrolling for sure but I’m at a point where I just don’t even want to see it. People who are about that...I just figured block them as I see them. I know that I can’t get rid of all of it for good but lessen the pool, ya know? But I can’t find a block option. Is there not one?
