TTC 8 months now tired of BFN'S!

Hey All,

So me and my fiance have been trying for 8 months now to conceive. I know it's not as long as most people or some of you but I have to say seeing BFN's every month for the last 8 months is very upsetting and discouraging. This month I totally thought we had it, as we had baby danced every single day in my fertile window. I know my age can be a factor, so they say, but why is this so hard!? I've tried diet and lifestyle changes, vitamins and supplements, using OPKs, and pre-seed and nothing just feeling defeated. My OB-GYN wants me to see an RE, for an evaluation but I recently found out when I called to make an appointment for an evaluation that they don't take my insurance and I know the cost of infertility treatments can get quite pricey.

Anyone else in the same boat?
