Do we change the name to appease our families?

So my husband and I LOVE this particular name for our daughter that will be arriving around September 3rd (Guinevere). My family and his family hate it. Do we change it to appease them or ignore them and do what we want. (I'm such a people pleaser and he doesn't care what they think)

It's your child. Name them what you want. It's not as if you're naming them GorillaButt 
You picked a perfectly good name they'll get used to it. They had their chance to name children now it's your turn.

This is why we told no one our name choices. It's hard to find a name that both parents like, let alone everyone else. At least you've picked a decent name, unlike many of the silly names you see nowadays. Tell them they're right and you're gonna go with Paysleigh Blue or something, then they'll be happy with Guinevere lol

A lot of people say they hate names and then once they fall in love with the baby, it doesn't matter to them anymore. If you love it, keep it and it will grow on them!

Go with what you love...even if they initially hate it, they will come around to it. I love the name, and It was one of my choices, but we’ll be going with Genevieve if it’s a girl. Also, I wouldn’t tell them the name until baby is born. Even less chance for them to sour it for you

Eff that! It’s your baby and you get to choose the name not them!! This is exactly why we won’t tell anyone the name we choose until after birth. People are much less likely to express their dislike for our name after it’s official. PS i love the name you chose 🥰

Your parents picked yours and his picked his and I’m sure their families weren’t involved in name choosing. This is y’alls baby to name as long as you and your hubby in agreement with Guinevere then you name her Guinevere. If they’re not paying your bills, or will be there throughout Guinevere’s life and not just for special events I mean in sickness and in health lol morning feedings, evening feedings, clothes laundering, taking care of baby until their of age for life or paying for Guinevere’s college then you have the right to ignore them and live your life! Just like you didn’t ask permission to make a baby and it bring her into the world you shouldn’t have to ask permission to name her Guinevere period!!!  Your child your choice ! Just make sure that it’s a name you’ll love forever. Good luck!
