What do y’all eat for your meals?!!

I’m new to the group! I actually had Gestational Diabetes with my first baby and now I have it with my second. I struggled so bad with my first baby .. I craved soda , sweets .. I’d get dizzy light headed at work if I didn’t have a snack or something sweet to bring my sugar back up.

I’ve also never ate healthy really .. I’m such a picky eater. I’m trying to drink a lot more water this pregnancy and less soda and I’m really wanting to change my eating habits.

I just need some help.. any tasty meal ideas ?

I don’t like eggs , cauliflower and a lot of other things. Just very curious what y’all eat!

My first baby weighed 9 pounds 7 oz

So I’m really trying to change my bad eating habits.

It's definitely hard I will usually have peanut butter on toast for breakfast then a turkey sandwich for lunch with baby carrots and dinner Weill usually be something with chicken. I can't remember what I ate with my first one. I know I have it again this pregnancy. I haven't been eating to good lately and need to start. Definitely look into anything low carb . I've been trying to eat more veggies as well. I've done a chicken and green beans dish in the oven. It was good.

I had cravings my first month doing it. I was diagnosed early. Now im use to it. I Drink only sparkling water. No sodas or tea. I get recipes off Pinterest and try new things. I add to it and adjust the recipe to what i like. It has made dieting pretty easy. And I love I'm losing weight while pregnant. But baby is still healthy and im doet only

I eat eggs/sausage or keto friendly pancakes and sugar free syrup for breakfast most days... Lunch/dinner I try to have a nice portion of veggies or salad. Like today I had broccoli I needed to use up..chicken Parmesan and broccoli lunch. BBQ Chicken & Parmesan broccoli for dinner. Snacks I like nuts, raspberries, dark chocolate sometimes, sugar free pudding, apple and PB....

Here’s some ideas my specialist gave me. As most breakfast items are processed they can be used as ideas to make from scratch!
