Weird period

Ok. My 4th iui just failed. I started my period on cycle day 27, which is early for me. I had heavy bleeding for 2 days. I went today for my cycle day 3 scan to try another iui round. The PA looked at my lining and said she could see the bleeding and asked if my period was heavy. I responded yes without really thinking about it. This evening, I realized I havent had any bleeding today even after my transvaginal ultrasound. Has anyone else had a 2 day period? Mine are always 7 full days and a full period.
