Look another breastfeeding question lol
Okay! Moms who are still breastfeeding! I have had a bountiful supply since my baby was 3 months. I not only fed her, and pumped some for my 3 year old to have...I donated milk. Just under 1,000 oz so far!! However since my baby has been 9 months my supply has taken a hit. I’m not able to pump a whole lot extra. I put back 4oz (sometimes 8oz in a good day).
I went into lactation and my baby is getting enough. She’s gone up in percentage in weight. The nurse told me it was common for supply to drop around 9 months because baby starts sleeping longer periods through the night, and eats more solids. However my baby is still up through the night every 2 hours, and only eats maybe 3oz of solids a day. She’s not real into it yet. A boobie baby if you will.
Has anyone has their milk supply dip? You still have enough for baby? I really want to make it to at least 12 months (though I’d prefer 18 months). I really don’t want to give her formula.
