Did you have to get an HSG test before starting Clomid?

My doc wants me to do it just to rule out abnormal or blocked tubes but I’m nervous.

It’s definitely nerve racking, but it is necessary. If your tubes are blocked prescribing you meds won’t help you. Sending you positive thoughts.

I think they do the HSG before meds because there is no point in putting you on meds to make you ovulate if your tubes are blocked. I had this done before being put on medication. Take pain relief an hour before you have the HSG as mine was quite uncomfortable & painful. Good luck xx
