Good long lasting birth controls??

I’ve tried the pill and the patch, didn’t like them and I also got pregnant on on the pill cause I couldn’t remember to take it lol 
What are some other options that I don’t have to worry about every day/week? And that don’t have any crazy or gross side effects like weight gain or acne TIA🙏🏼

Well, all hormonal birth controls have the possibility of causing side effects. It just depends on how ur individual body reacts to each method or brand of birth control. However, the only method proven to cause direct weight gain from the hormones themselves is the depo shot. All other methods can possibly cause bloating and/or an increase in appetite, which is what can give the effect of weight gain if not controlled. That said, the arm implant & IUDs are good long lasting, and highly effective methods. There’s even a non hormonal IUD.
