anyone’s period ruin trips for them?

my period is 6 days late and I’m going on a trip with my boyfriend in a week. I was so excited because my cycle should have aligned perfectly to start and end before our trip. We’re so excited to do things in the bedroom cause we never get alone time time at home (we both live with our families), but it seems like my period is going to decide to come late and ruin that :( is there any way to end a period early or even skip it all together lol😭 I am not on birth control
