Did you take a bath while pregnant?

I am currently 22 weeks and have not taken a bath since I heard you really shouldn’t but I want to for my back and pelvic pain

A bath is fine! Idk why so many women think it's not. Not shaming you, it's just an oddly common question. Hot tubs are bad baths are fine. Hot tubs aren't safe due to the temperature they sit at and raise your body temp, baths don't get nearly got enough to be dangerous

I take baths alllllll the time. My doctor said it’s fine because unlike hot tubs the water isn’t constantly hot. It cools down. And you can always get out, not fully immerse yourself etc. don’t make yourself suffer. It’s definitely fine and possible to take a bath.

It’s the best way for me to relax before bed! I sleep way better after a bath. As long as its not raising your body temperature

Man I take a Bath almost every day lol, it crucial for my mental health!
Coming into winter here too so baths are even more precious!
Midwife says hot baths are ok. Keep an eye out for signs you’re struggling with heat stress - like sweating, or feeling faint. That’s a sign to get out.
Otherwise our bodies are pretty good at regulating our temperature as normal.

No but that’s because I normally don’t take baths. I did soak in my jetted tub though
