How are you announcing your pregnancy?

I’d love to hear how you all plan to announce your pregnancy to friends, family and on social media?
I’m thinking of buying my son a ‘big brother’ top and just waiting to see who notices when we go to visit family.

I texted my sisters & told my mom in person. I think for social media I’ll post a photo of my daughter kissing my belly (when I’m much further along). Otherwise I’m not sure

We like to make tie dye shirts at my house. So my son and I are going to make shirts  for him, my daughter and me and I let him pick if he wants it to say bigger brother  and big sister or if he wants to do boys 1 girls 1 tie breaker coming Feb. 2021. He wanted to do bigger brother big sister. So that's what we're gonna do, my daughter  is only a year and a half so she doesn't  really know what's going  on.

For my first we gave everyone coffee cups as a christmas gift with her ultrasound on it saying grandpa (or other name) to be with her due date.
This time were thinking of announcing at her 1st birthday party. Were going to take her to change out of her dress after the cake and have her wear a I'm going to be a big sister shirt.

I’m getting announcement cookies made and we are going to give them to our parents the morning after our elopement when we all go out for breakfast! We will make it seem like a thank you gift. For friends I’ll probably honestly just send all my girlfriends a picture of me holding up the ultrasound photos. Social media I’m not 100% sure yet. I thought a cute layout would be adorable but I like the idea of incorporating my other kids so we might do a “Big” and “Middle” Tshirt and have them hold a onesie that says “little” or to be a little funny I seen one where the kids would have “1” and “2” balloons over them and then the words “oh shit” over me holding the strip of pictures! We were originally thinking a funny Covid one saying something like “We thought we had all the protection. Well played quarantine” and have masks and gloves on as a family holding the letter board and ultrasounds but I just don’t know anymore haha thank goodness I still have lots of time to think about it!

Going to have my daughter (she’s almost 4) go over to my inlaws with the sonogram in a photo frame. She will tell them. She’s cute when she has “something to show you” just hoping she won’t say it’s a baby sister (her wish) and get anyone excited before we know lol. I have my sono 7/9 when I’m 9.5 weeks. We will tell after I’m 12 weeks and have my next scan
