I went into labour expecting the worst pain in the world but it was actually 100x worse than I imagined.

Anyone else?

Or did anyone have an opposite experience to mine?

EDIT: I had an epidural, I got one at 7cm.

Although they had to turn it down because it was affecting my breathing and then let me use it again until it was time to push and they turned it off/down again because they wanted me to feel pushing. I still had the effects of the epidural contractions weren’t overly painful but the pushing was insane. Can’t imagine ever doing it without an epidural!
