Is melatonin safe?

I take 5 mg melatonin chews to help me sleep (all natural) - are they safe while pregnant? I’m 5w1d.

Unisom does the same thing and is safe!

I was told unisom was okay by my doc. I lived on half a pill a night the first trimester to sleep.
