Help- husband has shingles

So my husband on Tuesday started having some back pain then Thursday he noticed he had a rash and went to urgent care today. He has shingles. Now I’m worried about LO since she has been in contact with him.

Doctor told my husband he is not allowed to hold or even touch her for two weeks. He’s upset which I understand. Currently I am more worried about LO getting chickenpox.

Anyone ever been in the same situation? Is chickenpox bad in 7 month olds?

Is it possible for his shingles to reactivate my chickenpox and give shingles to me as well?

This has been one stressful year with the pandemic and now this.
