Lay offs and school

I work for Allstate and although they are very profitable they will be laying off thousands of employees by September (CEO and Vps of course will continue getting their bonuses). Anyways I'm trying to plan for what happens after. I currently have 1 to 1.5 years to finish my bachelor's. Would it be worth it to pay for school with student loans? I currently have $5000 in debt with student loans. I was using allstate for tuintion reimbursement, but looks like that will no longer be available. By the end of my degree if I continue I will be in debt around 10000. Any advice will be appreciated.
