Is it important to position arm at heart level to take blood pressure?

My doctor’s office never takes my blood pressure at heart level, but always below heart level, and my pressure is usually just around cusp level between normal and elevated.

Because of this, I was told to monitor my pressure at home.

I use a medical grade arm cuff and rest my arm at heart level, and my pressure is always normal. Should I bring this up at my doctor’s office?
