period came with the worst timing... HELP

so I've been seeing this boy who just graduated from west point. we're staying in an airbnb tomorrow and monday before he heads back home halfway across the country. this is supposed to be our big last hurrah but I GOT MY PERIOD 🥵 this is my second day now and it tends to last 4-5 days (but is very light by day 5)- tomorrow will be day 3. i'm literally mortified because I don't know him super duper well (I wouldn't be stressed if we were officially dating but we're not there yet). i obviously want to have sex and I know he does too but ugh... I'm also so stressed about actually going to sleep and having to worry about blood (I don't sleep with tampons in and don't want to, I only use pads af night) so I'm bringing spandex for under my shorts. do you ladies have any tips for a sleepover w a guy when you have your period?? thanks 😰
