Trying for a baby at 20

Hey! So I am making this post for advice not criticism. I am graduating college this year (yes at 20 years old). I’ve been working my ass off to get through school and start my own career. My work ethic is crazy. My boyfriend and I both sat down and had a discussion about a possible family, engagement, and our futures. Our futures are both along the same path, as we have been saving and investing to start a recording studio together. People may judge us for wanting to start a family, before marriage and before an engagement. We know in our hearts that we want a child while we are still young. I know it’s an unpopular opinion. I also have a couple disabilities that would prevent me from having kids later in life. I don’t want to take that chance. I just wanted to post on here to see if anyone else planned a child at 20/21 years old and if there is any advice to be given (you know, besides “oh you should wait”🙄). I know he is the one, I know that sounds cliche and I know we will face a lot of judgment. We both work 5-6 days a week and Both take extra shifts so we can save up for the baby. I just needed to post and talk to a community of women for any kind of support or advice. Thank you for taking the time to read this and comment.

Update: two months after trying, I’m pregnant and couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to meet my baby April 2021
