Braces ?

Need your opinion but I’ve always wanted to get braces and never could afford them now that I have the money but I’m pregnant (5weeks) idk if I should get them due to gum swelling and the pain that comes with it any suggestions?

I would wait until after you’re done being pregnant- pregnancy can affect your gums and teeth. Also braces/dental work will hurt and you’ll be limited on pain relief pregnant

The only reason you should wait is because they do X-rays before to get a mold to plan out and get before pictures you need to wait for that reason. But the whole “teeth shifting” is bs if you have braces on like I do currently, it doesn’t matter if your teeth shift in fact it would be more ideal to have them shift while you’re already getting work done then after 😂😂😂😂

Teeth can shift during pregnancy. I would wait.
I had braces for 4 years as a kid.
Some of my teeth have shifted after I had kids.
