Has anyone taken macrobid during pregnancy?

If yes was everything fine? Was baby fine? I’m really worried because ever since taking it I’ve got stomach cramping and pain.

They prescribed keflex to me even though I usually take macrobid for UTIs. Apparently keflex is safer for pregnancy... my MIL is a pharmacist and she agreed that it is safer

Taking it is definitely better than letting a UTI get worse or turn into a kidney infection, etc however macroban SUCKS! It's always made me feel really sick and (TMI) turns your vomit, pee, and poop wild colors.

I’m currently 29 weeks and I’ve been taking it since Friday for a UTI. I have been nervous too I hate taking anything when pregnant but I’m sure they wouldn’t prescribe it for us if it wasn’t safe. Plus it’s better than having a uti

Taking it now too and I’m 32 weeks! 5 days 100 mg twice a day. I also had to take it beginning of pregnancy too and Ive heard of some people on it entire pregnancy for preventing UTIs. It has a long proven track record of being safe. An infection can cause preterm labor so best to take it!

Yup me jus about two weeks ago, 7 day course due to UTI, all fine. Better to treat the UTI before it gets worse... Plus if doc prescribed it to u then don't worry, they know what they r doing xx
