My wife really wants to name our daughter the name below. How would you spell it??

The only name with a translation that I could found is “maison” which translates to house or shelter. Kind of fitting for this Covid-19 since I haven’t left the house lol. Thoughts?

Common spelling is Mason but I’ve only ever known it to be a boys name. I would go with Mayson for a girl because a y is more feminine. I think most people are just voting on the correct spelling with actually reading your post.
