Fostering?

My husband and I are starting the process of fostering! YAY! When we started dating and we realized we were getting serious and wanted to marry each other we both established things we wouldn’t bend on and fostering children was something we both wanted. There’s so many children in the system that need a home/parent(s) to show them love and affection.

Anyways, the point of this post was to ask you mother’s who have fostered or are fostering what did the process look like? How long did it take?

We are both fairly young, will be 25 in August and November so I’m concerned their our age may be a factor.
