MIL feeding child

My daughter is about to turn 2 yrs old. We are over at MIL house very often. Serval times a week. Whenever we go visit she insists that she feeds my daughter and takes care of her. No problem right? I get a couple hours of break! Any mom would like that... however my MIL feeding my daughter has been getting really bad. It doesn’t matter what she eats but she gives her such a small portion. I usually let my daughter feed herself but my MIL likes to hand feed her. If my daughter has beans my MIL will get 1 bean and cut it in half, smoosh the half and give it to my daughter. If she has noodles it’s a crumb of a noodle. I’m not even exaggerating. She feeds her CRUMBS. I say something EVERY day. “Hey, she can have a bigger piece than that. She’s almost 2 she isn’t 6 months anymore.” But she always says “well this is grandmas way.” And she never listens. Me and my hubs always say something. I mean maybe I’m being ungrateful but I feel bad for my daughter only being fed crumbs. If I try to take over she says “NO I want to feed my little girl you always get to” so I’m at a loss because my husband doesn’t want me to cause problems. Rats get bigger pieces of food than my daughter I just find it ridiculous at the size of things she gives.
