Yeah so do you ever read a comment or post of someone talking about their significant other and how insanely in love with them they are or how fantastic their partner treats them...  and it just cuts you so fucking deep because you know that your relationship is nothing like that and you're so fucking miserable but it's too complicated to just walk away. Fuck me.

Yeah... that was me... until I decided I’d rather deal with a messy, long, hard, complicated break up then to live my life in a messy, long, hard, complicated relationship.
Everyone deserves that chance. Don’t let fear hold you back.

It used to. Omg...it used to burn me terribly.
Till I walked out and found it for myself. 
My ex was a horror show. The absolute worst. We spent almost a decade together. I thought I couldn't start over. I thought this was then end. 
Fun fact....it wasnt. I walked out.
Fast forward years later and I am happily married to an amazing man who gives me all that love I used to be so envious of. We have an amazing home, amazing children, amazing pets...its all I've ever wanted.
You can have it too. Life is too short to spend time miserable with a man who wont give you what you need.

You’re only as stuck as you allow yourself to be. You can leave. It may take time. But you eventually will leave and thank yourself. I never thought I’d be able to leave my past relationship and it was so toxic on every level. I woke up one day and just said “this is it”. I haven’t looked back since. It taught me A LOT on what I will snd won’t accept. There is someone out there for you.

I do the reverse. I see all of these post with women who are being mistreated. Who say that they don’t know how to leave. My heart aches for them, and it really makes me appreciate the emotional transparency in my own relationship

I am married to the most amazing man, the most amazing father to my children.
But previously I was married to a heroin addict. I decided to stand up for myself and leave his lame ass. It was the best choice I ever made for myself. 
Just because life isn’t how you want it right now, doesn’t mean you can’t have it in the future.
