Ovulation Bleeding

I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced ovulation bleeding? My husband and I are not actively trying to get pregnant and last night we had sex. This morning I woke up, took a walk, and had some spotting. I’m ovulating this week and have never had this happen before! Does ovulation bleeding happen randomly?
