Interesting bbt spike?

Woke up today at 8dpo and had a huge temp spike. For reference, I bbt vaginally because my oral temps were always impacted by windows being open, etc. I tested this morning and BFN but I know it’s early. Looked like my chart was already starting to be kind of triphasic and then the additional huge spike today threw me off! Any thoughts? I’m disheartened by the BFN today although I know it’s still early. Fingers crossed!
