Clomid success stories?

My doctor wants to put me on clomid after 2 m/c in the last 6 months. Anyone else have success with this? And how many are having twins as a result? Thx for any feedback!

I got pregnant with twins on the first round. However, my understanding is chlomid is for woman who are not ovulating normally or at all. If you've been able to get pregnant (sorry to hear about your m/cs) you are ovulating. I would bring this up to your doctor and see what they say. I'm not sure this medication would help with your potential issue.

I am currently 17w1d pregnant with twins.  I took one round of clomid 50mg.  Released at least 3 eggs.  I have PCOS and insulin resistance.  We tried for two years prior to trying clomid, and my family is full of twin pregnancies.  All ended in loss of one or both babies.  So far, we are 17 weeks and going strong.  My boys heart rates are in the 160s.  Next ultrasound is on Monday.  :)

I got pregnant with twins on my first cycle at 50mg! We have had one m/c last October, so this was an awesome surprise to see we were expecting 2 little miracles! I am now about 17 1/2 weeks! Good luck to you!

Just make sure they are doing follicle scans to help with accuracy of ovulation but MOST importantly the risk of overstimulation.
