best place to sell dog? :/

so i don’t wanna have to get rid of my dog but she’s too much for me to handle. she’s a 2 year old german shepherd. i’m 15 weeks pregnant so she can be too rambunctious for me and my boyfriend is a roofer that works out of town 5 days a week so he’s not here to help out with her very often. we’re also first time parents so i already know it’s going to be waaay too much to handle once the baby is born in december. what’s the best site or place to sell my her? i know people use craigslist but sometimes that scares me as i’m a small 20 year old girl and i don’t like to meet with strangers obviously and i also want her to go to a nice home. sorry if this is the wrong group or touchy for anyone. thanks in advance

Shes too much for you to handle because you didnt train her properly. That poor dog. Normally I'd say you shouldnt get rid if your dog but I honestly think your dog would be better off with someone else who has the dedication and love for their dog. 
And before you come at me, I have 2 2 year old german shepherds along with 2 other dogs, a 10 month old, and a baby on the way and i can fully manage.
Give the dog back to the breeder, they will always take them back.

Contact a rescue organization or a no-kill shelter. You could also try and rehome her to someone you know but if you're weary about her going to a good home definitely find a local rescue who will place her with the right family

This breaks my hear, for your dog. People are so unworthy of dogs. 
I hope that you don’t change your mind a year down the road and expect different results with a new puppy. Dogs require time, training, attention. The poor dog will be devastated to loose constants.

Should have trained her and maybe should have considered this also before getting a larger breed of dog especially if u were considering beginning a family. I've 2 dogs and they r mental not trained we tried but gave up and that's OUR fault not the dogs. I don't beleive n getting animals and giving them up its very unfair and dogs have become depressed when this happens. I have a 19 month old and I was concerned about how I'm gonna manage a baby with 2 idiots and yeah it's hard but they r amazing with my daughter, they r so gentle with her, and yes they still do my head n and they r harder than a child but that's my problem and I'm gonna have to deal with it, I love them to bits and my daughter does to. Dogs are family and that's for life not temporary. Also selling a dog on Craigslist, buy n sell, ads for free, gumtree, I've no idea where u r from but I'm sure u have heard of people using these ads to find dogs for dog baiting and it's not uncommon especially if the dog is gonna be reasonably priced :( my dogs r neutered Coz I know I couldn't handle having to give puppies away, u have no idea who your dog is going to the kinda home they will b in and whether r not they r gonna end up rehoming your dog and also of that dog is gonna be looked after n the way it deserves

Facebook, or maybe take her to day care a couple days out the week if you can, or to the dog park, or to a training class. My brother has 2 shepherd one is about 2-3 months and one is 2 years old and they are a mess but with a lot of play and interaction they are learning to calm down.

Reach out to local rescue groups or specifically German shepherd rescues. They can offer a courtesy post to help you find a home for her. This will ensure she actually goes to a good home instead of someone wanting her as a guard dog or fighting dog.

First of all ignore the hateful comments. Second yes you should’ve started training at a young age and looked into the characteristics of this high energy breed before you got yourselves to this point. I understand life changes but being pregnant and your husband being gone is a poor excuse. There’s no going back now, so with that said and you’re set on rehoming, I would try Craigslist or even a local Facebook group. You can meet in a public area like a parking lot with cameras if your worried. I would also make sure to ask for a rehoming free and screen potential adopters, you don’t want her to be bouncing around from family to family that’s not fair to her. Please try and train or look into training.  Also doggy day care. Or dog park to get energry out. Sheppys are high energry but they are such great dogs. Espically if you work with them. 
I have worked with dogs and owned a sheppy while pregnant.  
Please try. I feel bad for dogs getting shipped around to different homes. It doesn't help behavior wise. 
If you absolutely can't and have to, look at a no kill shelter or contact the breeder or where you got the sweet sheppy.

You can try training. We’re first time parents with a four month old baby and a 2yr old shepherd as well. It is very hard but I get it. most of the time they’re that way because they need stimulation. I know It’s not my situation/place so if you do decide to rehome please just give your dog to a shelter or a rescue where they’ll be sure it goes to the right place! :)
