Is this bag too big or small to take as a hospital bag? For myself and baby? Currently 27 weeks pregnant and I am not sure as to when I must pack bag? Any ideas? I’m FTM

I’ll more than likely have 2 bags. One bag for the little stuff and another for the big stuff. Hubby knows how to make things fit better than I can so I may end up with one bag for every thing

I asked my doc yesterday he said pack things for 3 days. So i have to pack for 3 baby hubby and I. He said becsuse with all tjis going on hes been keeping his patients for 3 days in the hospital. He said to me pack snacks for ur husband and im planning on doing my travel bag a medium size one. Im starting to pack early as well because with my first baby my water broke at 38nweeks im curently 27 so rather have things ready my doc also suggested to start the bag because he said u can see what u 3 will need

I think anytime you wanna pack your bag is fine. I packed my bag 6 times my last pregnancy and switched it all out. Lol but with this COVID-19 they are getting patients in and out. I don’t see you being there more then 2/3 days tops. 
My sister who had her baby 6 weeks ago was in 2 days with c-section. 
Also depending where you live and all that just know certain hospital won’t allow you to bring in baby’s car seat or stroller. Your tide home they wheel you down to car and help you get baby in from there’s.

I have two suitcases one for me and one for baby... But I like to be prepared for everything!!.. I would pack the kitchen sink if I could. Xx

I also packed my duffle bag for myself and then brought my diaper bag with the stuff for the baby. My husband had his own duffle bag.

It looks right to me! Mine’s about that size. I packed mi e for my first around 30 weeks because I was scared of going into labor early. My SIL has recently had premature labor at 30 weeks, so I was skeert! 😳 This time, I’ll probably pack around 34 weeks, my doctor said if I was induced, the earliest it would be is 36 weeks, but she’s trying to let me go into labor naturally. I had cholestasis with my first, so there’s a high chance I’ll have to go early. Though I’m waiting to pack my bag, I’m WAY more organized this time around and I’ve been collecting little things along the way for the baby and for myself and I have different storage containers for different things. As far as hospital, I have a “baby container” and a “mama container.” As I get things, I sort them into their boxes. The thing that came in today that I was excited about was the “toiletries kit.” Instead of possibly forgetting to pack something, I ordered a pre-packaged toiletries kit and threw it in my container. It was a good find. Takes the heat off of me in that area! 😎
