Semen Analysis Shows Prostate Infection?

Hey guys,
I just got my husband’s results this morning from his semen analysis earlier this week. 
They showed no normal sperm. Low count and low motility. My doctor said we won’t conceive with numbers like this. 
They said his analysis was indicative of a prostate infection and with treatment, his numbers should improve. 
Has anyone been in this situation and had success after treatment? I’m so disappointed.

What’s the next plan with low count and motility? Is count too low for an iui? Are they talking ivf? Is he seeing a urologist next?

All the same for my husband EXCEPT they never checked his prostate or for any sort of infection. Only checked his hormones and said "welp, I dont know" when it came back good. Does he have any more symptoms? Did his SA show a lot of WBC?
However they are right and his numbers should improve if that is the problem. It could take a few months to show improvement once the infection is gone.
Did they actually test for an infection though or that's just their guess? I'm sorry, I know it is discouraging but hopefully it will be fixed soon. I wish you good luck ❤
