Anyone familer with cycle day 3 and 21 blood work?

Hi ladies. We are at a year of ttc, my dr is sending me for bloodwork on day 3 and 21 of my cycle. Unfortunately labs are not open on Saturdays and that is when day 3 falls (tomorrow) my dr is out of the office and I don’t want to wait to do it until next month. Should I go ahead and get blood work today? (Day 2) or is it pointless. Any one familiar with this??

I would rather do the bloodwork at day 2 than at day 5 if I couldn’t wait until next month. Some of these hormones are at their lowest at the beginning of your period, but it’s difficult to schedule same day appointments so the norm has been “call on cd1 to schedule an appt for cd3”. But they’ll do testing anywhere between cd2-4
