My water broke at 7:30am, took a shower, ate breakfast, and then went to L&D. I never really had contractions until I was admitted but ultimately needed pitocin.

Mine broke at a nail salon when I was 33 weeks along so I went straight to the hospital

My water had never broke on its own. With my first I went into labor and they broke my water as the sac was bulging but wouldn’t break and they mentioned something about it being thick like a partially deflated balloon. The other three pregnancies were induced and the doctors broke my water before pitocin was started.

So funny enough, my water broke in the shower with my first. But with my second my water broke in the hospital and my son was born 15 minutes later so there wasn't anytime for that lol

Sounds nice but contractions came in strong after water breaking, I was in tears all the way to the hospital because of the pain.
