SO won't stop

My boyfriend knows that it bothers me when he starts a fight in front of my goldfish named Sunny. He disrespects my wishes and it really upsets me. I've told him time and again not to start arguing with me when I'm in the same room as Sunny. Sunny has been through enough and he doesn't need my boyfriend contributing to his emotional trauma anymore than he already has!! How can I get my boyfriend to understand and respect my wishes???
