4 weeks pregnant - period due yesterday and having period style cramps?

Hi, I’ve just found out I’m 4 weeks pregnant (first time ever being pregnant) and yesterday would have been the start of my period. I’ve had quite bad period style cramps all day today which is making me quite worried, just wondered if anyone else experienced this and if everything turned out to be ok?

I’ve had the same worry! I’m 11 weeks pregnant and occasionally get that feeling you get when you’re going to start your period, light cramping etc. That’s okay, but if it’s really bad cramps you should talk to a Dr.

It’s totally normal to have crAmping. You will get cramps throughout your whole pregnancy. As long as you aren’t bleeding and they aren’t extremely painful it’s normal.

I’m 4w5days and having this too and I hear it is totally normal as long as no bleeding is with it! It’s baby setting up in the uterus and it stretching for the first time
