TMI I'm so sorry but I have PCOS have had it for a while and been taking 1k mg of metformin daily and after two months of the first period on metformin today is my 3rd day and this is a big blood clot...is that normal?

Yes with PCOS when you don’t have periods your uterine lining gets thicker. Sometimes longer between periods means heavier periods.

I have PCOS and my periods when I do get them are heavy and lots of blood clots. It’s normal.
