Well I went in on a Monday for regular check up.  We ended up being sent to hospital because I had low amniotic fluid levels. Well we got to hospital she just finished hooking me all up and starting the pinto in. My doctor came in to break my water and she noticed the umbilical cord had prolapsed and was in the front of my uterus. She called a code red cesarean. I was rushed to a Surgical room I was put to sleep for the surgery so everything was kind of a blur after that. I woke up was told the baby was here. He was 4 lbs and 14oz so tiny but mostly healthy. I didn’t get to see him til that evening but it was ok.
