Any tips for curl definition in wavy hair, please? 💖

Hi beauties, 
I was wondering if any of you have any tips for products which help with curl definition? 🙂 (Ideally something sulfate-free/more on natural side) The thing is I have 2B-2C waves, so the "traditional", very conditioning-oriented curly girl method doesn't really work that great - the hair is either too weighed-down or most of my curls get brushed out. Thank you and I'm looking forward to all your advice! 💜

My hair is 2b (I think 😅) and gets weighed down very easily so it has been a struggle to find curly girl products that don’t make it look stringy and limp.

I was using LUS, which I liked but just switched to Curlsmith and I LOVE IT!!!! That’s what I used above. I use the conditioning wash, moisture memory spray, and the hold me softly balm. They also have a soufflé and style fixer which will give more hold and definition, but I like looser waves with more body.

LUS has a trial set you can get that’s cheaper than buying the full size sets and can only order off their website. Don’t be afraid to get the curly one... it worked just fine for me and will give more definition. 
I got my Curlsmith products from Ulta and they also have smaller sizes to try before committing to buying larger sizes. 
Using a wide tooth comb right out of the shower while hair is still pretty wet to detangle and then scrunching to clump curls will definitely help to get more definition. Then scrunch in your products and try not to touch your hair while it air dries, or you can diffuse gently with a hairdryer.

Do you use a curl cream or gel? I would start there! I like the curling custard from kinky curly hair! I also have waves not curls
