First time meeting your spouse?

Just wanted how it was for everyone when they met their spouse for first time. Weird ? Awkward? Love at first sight 💘? "Mmmhmm I know this aint gonna work out."? Exciting? How was it mommies & future mommies?

His dad and my mom knew each other from high school and conspired to get us to meet!! I'd been out hiking all day and was a muddy, barefoot, grass in my hair mess. My mom called me and I thought something was wrong, so I rushed to the bar (where we both worked) and she just wanted to introduce me to this guy. I got mad at her and our introduction was very brief. For whatever reason he decided he wanted my number and got it from my mom that night. We talked for a couple weeks and then hung out for a couple months before he asked me to be his girlfriend. Fast forward almost 4 years and we just welcomed our daughter a little over a week ago!! 😍😊

It was only awkward because we were young and I thought he was the most adorable, hottest thing I ever laid eyes on. Plus we were both really shy at first but it was so cute to me. I never thought I would be lucky enough to be marrying him and carrying his child one day. And 3 years later I love him more and more every day💕

Met mine at school, I was a freshman who was new to the area and he was a senior. I was really shy and quite (I thought he was cute but way out of my league and he was kind of weird lol) but he instantly was attracted to me. Years past with us being friends and talking off and on and when I split up from my ex fiance (he was a douche) My SO came over to comfort me and we have been together ever since 💕

The first time I met my SO he came busting in my friends cottage and throws open the fridge. He yelled to my friend he figured out how to water proof the fireworks (coating them in wax) and then was gone. I told my best friend I thought he was a know it all and never wanted to see him again.

Two days later while walking back over to my friends cottage I saw my friend and him outside grilling and it was instant I need to know you. Well summer ended and I went back to 2000 miles away and about 10 summers passed with summer love but each of us having other SOs.

Right before I got to college we both had bad breakups so I tried to suprise him by flying out to see him during a long weekend. And we have been dating for the last 8 years now.
