Why Do Guys Prefer To Be Single?

I understand that a majority of guys who are in their 20s prefer to be single to focus on career, travel, or they’re not ready to settle down yet. 
But I’m curious to know the reason why guys who are in their 30s or 40s prefer to stay single. Is it true that a guy has to meet “the one” or like someone that they really love to actually want to settle down with them?

Single....No drama, fighting, responsibility, guilt free sex. Relationships are a lot of work. Responsible for pleasing someone else in bed, their feelings, making sure their needs are being met. The fighting the arguing the drama, the in laws. Having to do things that you don’t want to do. Do you think he really wants to go to your friends baby shower no, he’s rather be doing anything else. Relaxing and watching sports etc. or maybe he’s jilted from a bad experience and would rather be alone than in bad company. Yes you have to find someone that you can actually get along with well and tolerate. Don’t you. That’s the point of dating. But she better be a amazing to lock it down for marriage. No one wants to settle for less than they deserve because you are lonely or desperate or horny. And thanks to the internet, you can literally order a woman online like a meal from grub hub. Swiping left and right and have multiple women going at the same time what one won’t do someone else will. Why deal with the same fights and arguments of a relationship. Kinda understandable. We all hope to find the one. Someone that meets our needs. Someone that’s great in bed. Someone that fulfills all of our mental and emotional and physical needs. Someone you get along with well. Your best friend, your team mate  and more. Someone that makes you feel like a king, appreciated and desired etc. some guys are so used to being alone, or were a dirtbag for so long they gotta learn how to not be.

Eh that's entirely dependant on the person.  I'd guess maybe it's because they were single most their lives and never had the opportunity to learn how to commit. Some men never have a problem with it
