Baby showers

Hi ladies,

I had a MC at 5w last month after 4 years TTC for #1 all the while all of my friends seem to be getting pregnant soooo easily and I'm upset and yes, really jealous.

A new wave of friends and family are pregnant now and are starting to throw baby showers and I can't even be around some of these friends because all they seem to talk about is being pregnant and having babies, even though they know my situation, they are so caught up in their situations that they don't seem to appreciate how hard it is for me so I often have to remove myself when the preggo chatter is breaking my heart. I can't attend baby showers because of how upset I know I would be for days or weeks after.

Has anyone else dealth with these kind of issues, where girlfriends don't seem to understand? How did you cope?

Has anyone had to decline baby shower invites because the burden of MC and/or infertility is too much to bear in an envrionment of celebrating someone else's fertility?

I don't mean to sound like a terrible person, I'm just on struggle street here and I'm definatley not my best self and I'm looking for any advice or shared experiences that might be out there.
